The flames are pretty. Choice of flame colors and supposed speed, although I can’t tell the difference. “Crackling” sounds like metal. The logs don’t add anything to the look, so we prefer to not use them. And it is very painstaking to arrange them!!! They don’t glow or anything. Lots of compliments with the flames only. Customer service was excellent when we had a problem and they sent a replacement.

This was just perfect for my big den. Easy to install, connect and operate. I love the programming options. Nice to awaken to a heated room. Flames are amazing. Only issue is the sound, it's not very appealing and doesn't sound realistic. Overall I'm very happy. I've dealt with CS for a different product and was very very pleased with the outcome. I will be purchasing more in the future and would recommend to anyone.
