Best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time !

I compared and studied so many products to buy a fire pit. This product uses good stainless steel for now, has a great finish, and has legs at the bottom to protect the floor and grass. In addition, it's made to be easy to throw away the natural ash and make the surroundings warm enough. My family and I are using it with great satisfaction, and I highly recommend it.

It's not smoke free, but I didn't expect it to be. Way better than the open system that came with my table. Amazing heat and more efficient. Way less smoke to the point my wife can now join me without smelling of smoke. I got the black one. It's still stainless where it counts. The for has to get going before the wood has its emitted for the second burn effect. Makes a beautiful flame effect. I plan to clean it out and protect it from the elements after use to see how long it lasts. Materials seem solid quality though. Don't think I'll need a deflector, plenty radiating heat from this can! Keep the fuel below the vents. Glad I didn't spend extra $150 on premium name. Easy set up, folding legs are great idea. Definitely portable with included bag. Get ur own poker though.

The flames are pretty. Choice of flame colors and supposed speed, although I can’t tell the difference. “Crackling” sounds like metal. The logs don’t add anything to the look, so we prefer to not use them. And it is very painstaking to arrange them!!! They don’t glow or anything. Lots of compliments with the flames only. Customer service was excellent when we had a problem and they sent a replacement.

Very nice product. Love the app and color changes. Negative-price is higher than other brands, but we paid the extra for the phone app. Other Negative is the logs. They do not show the ember glow. Had to buy logs from another vendor to get the look we wanted.

This is a great fire pit for overlanding. It packs up and can be used anywhere. Very minimal smoke and it gets hot. My only con is it goes through wood quick but that’s a known thing with all similar fire pits. They burn so efficiently. Great build too.

Overall great fire pit. Works just as well as the name brand ones but cheaper. The legs are also a nice built in feature. Connecting the upper and lower can be a bit difficult but it's not a deal breaker. We got the black stove and it looks great. It puts out a decent amount of heat ( about 3-4 feet from stove). Time will tell if it holds up but overall we are very pleased.

First I'll list problems/cons:

ONE BIG PROBLEM: The manual is wrong for torque! The correct values are: For 1/4 the torque is 8 to 10 ft-lb, for 3/8 the torque is 15 to 18 ft-lbs. The manuals says ridiculous values (47 ft-lbs!?) that are likely to destroy your nuts. See the attached photo.

The factory flare was junk on the 1/4. I recommend re-flaring everything and this is typical advice for mini splits lines. See the photo.

Last issue: I couldn't figure out how to pair the phone. It's in the quick guide, not the main instruction manual. Hit "Display" on the remote 6 times for the unit to enter pairing mode.

Outside is very quiet, the inside is a little louder than some other units, but it's still quiet on the lowest fan speed. The inside could be quieter though, but I'm fussy when it comes to noise. It's much quieter than any window unit or normal AC.

Pros/Good and expository:

I've installed many mini splits. This install was good! I know what to look out for so it went off without a any major holdups.

The instructions are great, and the quick guide is well done. I didn't even notice the quick guide until I was done.

The app seems to work better than the remote. So far five stars on the app.

For newbies, I like to mention what you'll need:
- A vacuum pump for the lines and mini-split adapter (usually about $110 here on Amazon). When you vacuum, it should eventually be dead silent and not make "hiccup" noises. If it does, you have a leak and need to tighten or re-flare. Every mini-split I've installed, except one, I have needed to re-flare at least one connection. Because you might need to re-flare, be sure to leave a little slack.
- Flaring tool. From Amazon they are well priced (I recently bought one for less than $30) Search for "Forsun flaring tool"
- I have a digital torque wrench, but they're expensive. A normal torque wrench also works. You can also just eyeball it, but if this is your first time, you'll not know how tight.
- I use Nylog because I was told to, but I honestly don't know if it truly makes a difference.
- Electrical: Take note! A 110 is not a 230, know what you're installing I typically run the lines myself and the parts aren't too expensive. Buy an AC whip and a disconnect, both can be bought on Amazon.
- Mini-split wall brackets. Especially for the winter when snow may bury the unit, you want it off the ground at least a bit. I bought the Turbro bracket with cross bars for easier install and it seems to be great quality.
- Mini split line cover set. There's many good ones, the name brand ones are best but more expensive. Turbro sells one that appears to look fine.
- Hole saw. I have a whole bunch in my garage. You can buy affordable kits on Amazon.

And other normal tools (wrench, drill, screw driver, screws for the bracket, etc.)

Overall, seems to be working great. Heat works very well, cools great. Overall, well done Turbro.

When this unit arrived I wasn’t too sure it could do the job. After all I live in a hot area of California and it gets miserable. After a couple days I realized I needed to hook the hose to it and everything changed. You wouldn’t think a dry climate like out here would possibly have any humidity. I was wrong! I can’t believe the amount of water I’m dumping out daily (at least a few gallons) and I use this to water my plants. My house was built in 1940 and no room to put in an HVAC. The entire back side of my house is windows overlooking the river and leaves no room for a split A/C. I have an older window unit in my living room that barely keeps the warm (it’s just plain HOT!). This Turbro unit has made my den bearable where I couldn’t sit in here at all before (I have a small portable A/C in my bedroom but it’s only good for that room). All in all, I’m very impressed with this unit and hope it will keep running for years to come!

I worked a little bit off and on with the installation of this Turbro 12K BTU Mini-Split unit over a period of about 2 weeks. Note: You'll have to evacuate the evaporator coils on the low pressure side (not the high side!). Most DYI installers will need some help to do this but fortunately we have a vacuum pump with our appliance business. The most difficult part was in knowing what type of breaker is needed for this particular unit's voltage rating. The product label on the outside unit calls for a 15a breaker. A search on the web didn't help so I called an electrician friend who told me the right one to get. It's shown in the 2nd picture. We're really pleased thus far with how quiet the unit is (both on the inside and outside.) Also, this unit helps to supplement our 20 yr old 2 ton Goodman central Heat & AC unit. Lastly, this particular unit has r410a Freon unlike the latest "Climate Change" requirements that's on all new home cooling systems which must have R-454B Freon. btw... R-454B is explosive! (But it is environmentally friendly. Huh?!)
I hope this review will be a help.

Also, if you're going to install the unit yourself you'll need a few tools, including a 3.5 CFM vacuum pump with an AC manifold gauge set. Try and get one with the R410a - 1/4 inch male to 5/16 inch female adapters. It will run you around $130-$150 in total.

The unit is easy to install if you work with your hands, and have basic tools ie; measuring tape, drill, hole saw kit, Philips/flathead/ ¼” hex screwdrivers, wrenches. 🤔 That's about it. Should be a one day install. There are also a few videos out there on YT but they don't go into as great of detail as the written instructions. What are you waiting for 👍 Get it.

The flame looks very realistic and in my opinion looks as good as those much higher priced,made and enclosure with an oak mantel and all looks great.

Just finished setting this up - got it 2 days ago but rain would not let me pour a concrete pad. It's a typical setup as with most mini splits. So far so good. It's incredibly quiet. I've been trying to ween myself off of central air as I work from home and don't need the whole house heated / cooled. With this (12k) and another (24k) unit running, it's pulling ~2kw/hr when keeping temp at 68 on a 96 degree day. Used 14 gauge wire and a 15amp breaker @240v. Definitely loving it so far. And best of all, qualifies for the federal tax credit!

I got this for my camping trips and for my RV travels because some locations will not allow fires if you don't have a fire pit. This fire pit has been impressive all the way around for several reasons.

It is well constructed and very easy to assemble and disassemble. The trickiest part was trying to figure out how the top went on the bottom because disassembled it is flipped over inside and at first I thought it locked that way.

Another great thing about this was it was easy to get a fire going for me in it. A few pieces of cardboard and a little lighter fluid and I had a fire. The way the venting is makes it easy to get a fire going and keep it going. You can physically see the air flow in one of the pictures but often when I was watching the fire I would see flame circles around the holes where the air was flowing.

I really did not believe this would be 'smokeless' but to my surprise it really does almost emit no smoke. It isn't completely smokeless but I had a charcoal fire in the background of the video that was emitting more smoke than this pit. I was burning paper and dried wood and almost had zero I could see the majority of the time.

I can tell you what it does emit is heat and this thing kicks out a lot more than I thought that it would.

It disassembles and cleans fairly easy and there was minimal heat changes to the metal after the initial burn. A few different colors on the non-painted metal but nothing else was changed.

It disassembles and packs up really easy and fits in the under carriage of my RV perfectly for the next use.

If I had anything negative about this it would be that the size of this pit limits the size of the wood. Your wood ideally needs to be around 1 foot - maybe a few inches longer but not longer than that. You won't be burning your 2 foot house firewood in it without it sticking over the top.

Overall, this is just a great fire-pit and I have fully enjoyed using it and having something easy to set up and tear down. The metal is good quality and nothing about this fire pit feels like cheapness to me. The price is a little higher but the quality matches it. I would recommend this.
