Bought this for my living room. My cats are more okay with this than garbage disposal is a bit of surprise to me. But I'm happy they like it because as they can lay on the bathroom floor belly up I can't. Fast cooling and convenient to move around is a plus

I’ve been looking to purchase a portable air conditioner for a long time and I knew that now would be a good time to do it. After searching for a while I found this air conditioner. The installation is simple as everything comes in one piece already. At first, I thought that this machine was too small for my room but after using it I found that it cooled very fast and my worries were unfounded. One additional note is how portable it is and how I will not have to worry about air conditioning this summer.

I needed a room AC because I live with a woman :) This means if my house gets below 75 degrees I start to hear a whining noise that sounds like “ehh it’s too cold in here brr” :) I put this AC in my office and it allows me to work on the computer, read, or take a nap in the comfort of 68 degrees. This has made my favorite room in the house even more appealing so I stay in it for hours at a time. This will surely lead to a divorce, but at least I won’t be hot. The remote means I don’t have to move to change settings and anything that makes it so I don’t have to move is great. Installation was easy (because I didn’t have “help”). It also has a dry and fan feature so it can be useful even when cooling is not needed. The noise level is lower than previous units I’ve had (the only thing in my house I can say that about) and it runs less to maintain the same temperature than my previous units as well. I see this as an indication of better quality. It also looks better than my previous units (also not true of “other” things in my house).

I would give this AC 5 stars but it has two very minor issues I don’t like. 1) the exterior facing vent did not come with a screen to prevent birds as most units do and the bright ring indicator light can only be turned off by using the sleep function, a sleep function that changes the temperature over time. So you either have a light in your room when you sleep or you have to wake up to the room 4 degrees hotter than you set it, or at least that’s how it reads in the directions, so I just leave it on and cover the light.

Overall I highly recommend this AC (even if it leads to divorce) and will update my comment if that changes :)

This AC unit is COOL. Easy and elegant setup. The AC unit vent hose attaches to windows in both horizontal and vertical orientations. The included vent hose attachment point is also very large and can fold very small for any size windows. The AC unit itself works as expected with easy controls to change the temperature. The design allows you to put it in the corner of a room and forget about it, the top providing a nice flat surface to work as a basic side table or remote stand. The AC gets cold fast and the fan blows sufficiently for a living room. The only downside that I have noticed so far is that the compressor fan is a bit noisy and has a squeak to it. It's nothing you could not drown out with music or the TV but if you are sitting next to it, it can get a bit uncomfortable. I will be using this AC as a backup AC unit for power outages as it is a sufficiently low power so most generators can handle it. Keep in mind this is a single hose unit, meaning it is not as efficient as two vent models but should be fine for any single room use.

This is working perfectly in my basement. I don't need it cold but wanted the dehumidifier. It's only about 50lbs and is easy to move around.
Working well and it's not too loud but you know it's on.
Much better option for spot cooling than a window unit.
