The unit was pretty easy to put together. It took a little time, but was worth it. Not all holes are started, so I’d advise using a small bit/drill for those not predrilled. I also ordered the fireplace. It fits perfectly and I’m SO happy. The unit is very functional and beautiful.

I love that I can close the door and don’t have All the electronics seen when were aren’t using them. It wasn’t too bad to put together, took a little time. But looks great with tv hanging on the wall above it

The instructions were a little difficult, but the item was packed very well and it's all assembled now. It took about 2.5 hours. The only 2 minor complaints would be that the adhesive strip that is given to put on the front is shorter than the front, so I didn't use that. And on the front of the top piece is a perfectly round black dot...I will have to get used to seeing that. Other than that it's sturdy, roomy, goes perfectly with my room...worth the money!
