It's very good! I have it on medium for my family & room/kitchen area and it's 72* in here and 54* outside! And it's cute.
Nothing digital about it, simple but looks nice and heats better than expected. No remote just two rocker switchs and one temperature control knob. Great deal for the money!

I have a fireplace that has never been used and since we purchased it I wanted to get it going. Unfortunately, we found out that part of it had been slightly compromised due to water getting in behind it for a period of time prior to our ownership. It has completely scared me off of making use of it.
I came across this fireplace insert and thought how perfect it might be. I completely underestimated it and am honestly shocked that it’s only $120! It puts out really great heat in that room (30 x 20ft) and I love that I’m able to use it without heat just for the aesthetics. It isn’t super loud either - just adding to the realness of it.
We do plan on putting a hole in the back of it to run the plug through (we have a closet behind), but for now I’ve just ran it to the side and wound the extra cord in the bottom of a basket. Luckily, I have curtains right beside that where my outlet is. So it’s pretty hidden for now!
It looks *almost* totally real and I think if I were a guest I wouldn’t know unless I really focused on it. And let me add that I’m typically a very picky person.
Absolutely recommend this product. Huge improvement to my home and it wouldn’t break the bank for someone looking into these! So excited about this one!
This fit perfectly in my fireplace. The landlord closed it up. I live in a very old and drafty house and this definitely keeps the living room warm and looks very realistic. I’ve been trying to find something to go into this empty fire place for over a year and this is exactly what I wanted.
