shuts down

bought in November of 22 and is being used in a family room. worked fine for a few months and stopped working in January. Was going to return it within the window but I found a resetting procedure on the amazon website. Did not make any sense but while on phone with Turbro finalizing return it started working. so of course, I cancelled the return with the January 31 deadline. Today February 7th it stopped working again. Note, we don't use it all the time just a few hours a day. I dug out the paperwork and started pushing buttons and it came back on. Is it over heating? shutting down? usually a burning smell, then it stops heating. just a flame no blower or heat. Is this a communication issue with product manufacturer? They did seem very helpful, but I had to figure it out myself. All they could do was offer replacement etc. So, I figured it out.... I have to reset it. It seems to have a lot of quirks. But for now, it works beautifully just beware you have to problem solve. other than this small issue it works great and looks wonderful in the cabinet.

Does what it's supposed to.

We have an enclosed porch 8x16, with a bathroom off of it. Does a good job in an otherwise unheated space

Great little heater.

Bought this to replace the junk one that camp in the camper. This works great for us. Set it on 68 and holds there pretty well. Used it in below freezing temps. Had the furnace set on 65 and it never kicked in. Can definitely recommend this product. Easy installation too.

Installing was a breeze, but buyers need to understand that the fire requires it to be inserted from the back of whatever unit becomes its new home! The flames provide a realistic enough look and can be changed quickly using the remote. The fire is a welcome addition to our front room. Can't believe we went for so long without a fire like this! We would highly recommend the TURBO unit, and the service you receive from the suppliers is instant as it is impressive.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that this unit will last a long time!

It works

Bought this to replace an insert. Not near as real looking as my original insert. Also the remote changes the channel on my TV to 222 or 6666. Heats well enough and the price was right.
