A2: No, this soft starter is NOT an overcurrent protection device. It must not be used as a substitute for any primary circuit overcurrent protection system.

Q3: S72 Pro or S15 Plus? How can I choose the right model of soft starter that I need?

A3: The S15 Plus is mainly used for low tonnage units, such as RVAC systems. The S72 Pro works for both low tonnage and high tonnage applications, including RVAC, residential air conditioners, and commercial heat pumps, etc.

Q4: What power sources can this soft starter work with?

A4: The soft starter is designed for off-grid, backup power, and low-amperage systems, allowing your AC to run efficiently even during blackouts or when using generators, RVs, or solar power.

Q5: Why the bluetooth drops connection constantly and when it does connect the readings will freeze or lag?

A5: The Bluetooth signal from the soft starter has an approximate 10‑meter range. For example, if the soft starter was mounted inside an air conditioner, the unit housing blocks part of the signal. If it was installed in an RV, the ceiling creates further obstruction, leaving an effective range of only 2‑3 meters. Bluetooth only works when the compressor runs normally. Obstructions in the installation environment cause signal attenuation; please keep the device close to the HVAC unit.
