Why Choose an Under-Bench RV AC?
Under-bench RV air conditioners are installed beneath beds, sofas, or cabinets to save space and free up your roof for solar panels or storage. They pull in air through a floor opening and drain condensation directly outside, reducing the risk of interior leaks. This makes them ideal for compact RVs with limited height or less space.

Inverter Technology for Smarter Comfort
Delivering 10,000 BTU of cooling and 9,500 BTU of heating, the Lapland LL10V features an inverter compressor that reduces energy use by up to 30%. It runs quietly, keeps temperatures stable, and starts smoothly on standard 115V power with no additional soft starter needed.

Flexible Airflow Setup
A dual-sided vent allows for versatile installation. The included duct can be cut into three sections (each recommended not to exceed 11.5 ft) to connect to 3 vents and easily direct airflow to different areas of your RV
FAQ
Unlike rooftop ACs, this one mounts inside your RV. Typical locations include under dinette seats, beds, floor compartments, or storage areas. Installation requires floor openings for air intake, exhaust, and condensate drainage. Please verify if your vehicle's floor allows modifications before purchase.
The unit operates on AC 115 V/60 Hz power with a minimum circuit ampacity of 6.25 A. Plug-and-play with a 6.2-ft LCDI power cord (3-prong).
Ducted. The package includes a 32.8-ft flexible air duct. Cut it into three sections (max 11.5 ft per piece) to connect three separate air vents. The ductwork can be configured according to your specific layout requirements.
Compatibility requires matching duct diameters of 2.36 in (60 mm). If your current ductwork meets this specification, no need to redo the ductwork.
More straightforward and simpler than rooftop units. Just connect the air ducts and cut the required openings - no need for the complicated process of transporting, mounting, and wiring the separate indoor/outdoor units like with rooftop systems. And the dual-sided vent design (select either side for use) offers flexible placement options. Please ensure enough RV interior space for the unit and ducts, and plan duct routing in advance.
Compatible with RV models that meet the aforementioned electrical requirements and have sufficient interior space to accommodate both the air conditioner and ductwork.
Particularly suitable for:
- Compact Class Bs;
- Class Cs where exterior aesthetics matter;
- Vehicles with height restrictions, rooftop obstructions (e.g., solar panels), or curved roof profiles (no space for rooftop ACs)
For specific compatibility questions, please provide your RV's dimensions and interior photos for consultation.
The downward-facing drain port requires a corresponding floor opening. When properly installed and used, all condensate is directed outside the vehicle. No ceiling leakage risks like rooftop units.
