Bought it for my son and they love it!

It's not smoke free, but I didn't expect it to be. Way better than the open system that came with my table. Amazing heat and more efficient. Way less smoke to the point my wife can now join me without smelling of smoke. I got the black one. It's still stainless where it counts. The for has to get going before the wood has its emitted for the second burn effect. Makes a beautiful flame effect. I plan to clean it out and protect it from the elements after use to see how long it lasts. Materials seem solid quality though. Don't think I'll need a deflector, plenty radiating heat from this can! Keep the fuel below the vents. Glad I didn't spend extra $150 on premium name. Easy set up, folding legs are great idea. Definitely portable with included bag. Get ur own poker though.

Portability is a must for us, and this is the only ’smokeless’ unit that we found that was truly portable. To be smokeless you do give up on a couple important attributes of a portable campfire, 1) the heat is mostly from the flame and the top. You give up on a lot of radiative heat, so in-terms of keeping people toasty, this is like most of the other in this category, 2) you can’t watch the logs burn, which is 25% of the fun of a fire. That said, you’re getting a mostly smoke free burn. We have another portable fold up fire pit that burns logs in the open, and while the open screen pans allows a lot of air, and reduces smoke, it’s no where as clean as this unit.

As far as dings and what I’d like to see… Please have some sort of way to move the unit when it’s hot. You need to install handles of some sort. You Cannot drag the unit, let the legs collapse and spill your fire. Not safe.

All and all we’re quite satisfied. What makes this a standout in smokeless fire pits is its portable nature.

Great product and half the price of a Solo (at least when I bought it). Don't hesitate, save the money on a Soli and get this one.

Like many of you I did a lot of searching through these reviews for an alternative to pricier name-brand smokeless fire pits. I landed on this one for the price, and for the other positive reviews. While I don't have (and haven't previously owned) another smokeless fire pit, I will still give this one a glowing review. Easy to assemble, gives off a very nice amount of heat, cleans up very easily (one of my biggest concerns), and is extremely portable. In fact, after breaking it down, my wife asked "where's the rest of it???" The carrying case feels durable and it stores nicely.

I settled on a 19" model, and I was initially worried that the size was going to be too small for us. But 19" is perfect for our patio. This is the size you want if you're entertaining between 1-8 people, I'd say. If you plan on having big parties you might want something bigger. But this is a nice "around the campfire" size, not "around the bonfire".

Certainly worth it to go with this model. One day you might move on to a larger one, or maybe a big name-brand so that you can impress the neighbors. But you'll get more than a few good years out of this one while you save up that money.
