Introduction: Reflecting on a Transformative Year
This year, TURBRO's product development centered on three key areas that shaped every decision we made:
- Refrigerant & efficiency upgrades to meet and exceed new environmental standards while maintaining the performance our customers depend on
- New product category expansion that brought TURBRO's climate control expertise into RV solutions and residential pool heating
- Customer-feedback-driven innovation, where we turned real user experiences and requests into tangible product improvements
These weren't just corporate talking points. They represented real investments in engineering, manufacturing partnerships, and product development that have positioned TURBRO for continued growth.
2025 at a Glance: Three Strategic Priorities
One of our proudest accomplishments in 2025 was completing the transition of our entire split air conditioner lineup from R410A to R454B refrigerant. This wasn't a simple swap. It required extensive testing, manufacturing adjustments, and careful coordination with our supply chain partners to ensure a smooth rollout.
Understanding the R454B Transition
The move to R454B represents more than regulatory compliance. While environmental regulations are pushing the HVAC industry away from higher GWP refrigerants, we saw this transition as an opportunity to lead rather than follow. R454B offers substantially lower global warming potential compared to R410A, with reductions of more than 75% in GWP.
That's why we invested heavily in testing and validation throughout 2024 and early 2025, ensuring our R454B systems deliver the same cooling capacity, efficiency, and reliability customers expect from TURBRO.

Expanding Capacity Options for Greater Flexibility
We also introduced a new 42,000 BTU capacity option to address the needs of larger homes, workshops, and light commercial spaces. This addition gives installers and homeowners greater flexibility without compromising efficiency.
Split Air Conditioners: A Major Environmental Milestone
This expanded lineup now offers one of the most comprehensive capacity ranges in the industry, providing right-sized solutions for everything from small bedrooms to large open-concept spaces.
RV Products: Building a New Business from the Ground Up
2025 marked TURBRO's official entry into the RV market. RV climate control presents unique challenges, including limited space, constant vibration, and constrained power availability.
Developing for the RV Lifestyle
Our RV product line launched after extensive real-world testing with RV owners and professionals.
We introduced fixed-speed models like the Finnmark 15,000 BTU RV Air Conditioner, followed by inverter solutions such as the Greenland 13,500 BTU Inverter RV Air Conditioner with Heat Pump.
Under-bench RV AC units and diesel heaters further expanded our RV climate ecosystem.
Pool Heat Pumps: Making Waves in Residential Heating
Expanding into pool heat pumps was a natural fit for TURBRO’s heat pump expertise.
Three Models for Different Needs
The M18, B33, and B58V models address everything from small pools to large residential installations.
